I have an outstanding belief that making photographs is what I was called to do. More than 12 years in, I am in awe of what I get to call my “job.”

What first drew me to photography was the idea that I could hold fast to moments by clicking a singular button, within my two hands, and that was pretty powerful. 

Being a photographer has not only shaped how I see the world, it is the way in which I best express myself.

The way I choose to live my life has great bearing on the way I am able to see yours – looking inward and discovering my own story, has been transformative and become part of my voice as a brand and as an artist.

Having had over 30 years of life experience, combined with the thousands of individuals I’ve been lucky enough to photograph, has in turn, allowed me to connect with humanity on a much deeper level than I ever thought possible. Life experience cannot be taught, it needs to be experienced.

It is paramount and has granted me permission to tell better stories.

I have been told I am a visionary which can largely be attributed to the bond and the passion I have for this craft. The way I can act as a chameleon – shooting in any type of light, any season, any atmosphere, any style, any human. I have a unique way of seeing the world and it shows in my heartfelt and vibrant range of work.

Editorial, yet documentary. 

Using an honest and intimate storytelling approach, I work with a mixture of digital and film.

I am able to strike the balance of yet soft — honoring both, aesthetic and tradition.

The big moments and small details.

I don’t follow rules, I follow where my subjects choose to take me.

And I am thankful for the invitation.

I have an eye for beauty, for design, for color. 

A love for interiors, drapery, tonality & texture.

I’m happiest hosting friends at my home, discovering a new city or restaurant, on the dance floor, or spending quality time with my husband, Ben and our dog, Sully.
